Howdy! I’m Kyle. I spend my days breaking large-scale distributed systems—not for the fun of the wreckage, but to understand how to make them more resilient, observable, and reliable.

Currently, I am an Observability Architect at Grafana Labs, where I help organizations master the "Big Four" (metrics, logs, traces, and profiles) to build a clearer picture of their digital world.

With a career spanning roles at AWS, Splunk, Verizon, GM, and most recently driving DevOps for the high-stakes world of Toyota Racing, I’ve seen firsthand how the complexity of modern infrastructure can either empower a team or paralyze it. My mission is to help engineers navigate that complexity through the lens of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and Chaos Engineering.

🌪️ Why "ChaosKyle"? In the tech world, "chaos" is often seen as the enemy. I see it as a tool. By proactively injecting failure into our systems, we move from a reactive state of "putting out fires" to a proactive state of engineering resilience.
